My favourite Beatle!
I was in New York visiting a friend. We went to Central Park to see the John Lennon memorial.
While we stood there, an elderly grizzled New Yorker stated in typical New Yorker style:
“It was over there son, the Dakota building, where that idiot popped him. We saw him regularly, really nice guy that John Lennon.”
Just have to pay my respects with my painting.
